Peggy was born, grew up in and graduated high school in Enid, OK. A full-service agent since 2000, she is familiar with residential and commercial listings in Oklahoma City and Edmond.
Peggy graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business. Her previous career experiences include Competition Coordinator for Kim Massay Dance Productions, and accounting and marketing positions in various real estate, insurance, and mortgage companies. She helped develop and was the exclusive realtor for Esperanza residential and commercial area in OKC, as well as assisted in the development of Prestige Plaza and Prestige Park of OKC.
Peggy attributes her success in real estate to her honesty, hard work, and motivation. She has the ability to listen and understand what her clients’ wants and needs are, and explains, “I believe that my greatest assets are that I’m available and attentive!” She adds, "I LOVE the challenge of putting the puzzle together for each of my clients - finding the "right" property, at the "right" time, in the "right" place, at the "right” price! I cherish the friendships I have made throughout my real estate career.”
Peggy is an involved parent in many organizations, including Board member of Sunbeam Family Services, past President and member of Friends of Sunbeam, Chi Omega Delegate to the OKC Greater Alumnae Panhellenic and current VP II, committee member of Chi Omega Alumnae Fashion for a Passion benefitting Hearts for Hearing, Advisory Board member of the Chi Omega House at OU. She is an active member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and chair of the outreach program to Skyline Urban Ministry.
When not selling real estate, Burris enjoys needlepoint, baking and following her six grandchildren and their activities. She is an OU football and Thunder basketball season ticket holder, and she loves attending the games!
